Medical Informatics
Master of ScienceThe Master’s program in Medical Informatics at the University of Tübingen teaches fundamental principles, concepts and methods of computer science and, beyond that, of medicine and the natural sciences. Completing this program will enable you to work on tasks in various fields related to medicine while using your knowledge of computer science, system development, and project management.
A special feature of our program is that it can also be taken with a related Bachelor other than Medical Informatics. However, if you don´t have a first degree in Medical Informatics, please take into account that you need to take additional courses for which German language is required.
Due to the interdisciplinary focus of this program, graduates hold positions in the entire IT industry, particularly in medical information processing and healthcare. Those who want to pursue an academic career will have the option to apply for a subsequent PhD program.
